I drew a Rat Creature because Sfé just finished Bone and has been drawing fanart and it’s made me want to draw fan art, too.

Bone was the first and only comic I read while growing up and it’s still one of my most favorite stories ever.

yesssss. I re-read Bone start to finish about every two years and it impresses the hell out of me every time. Guys, if you haven’t read it yet, get on it!

I still can’t believe the beginning to this comic was serialized in that kiddo Disney magazine.

I remember reading the bits i did have over & over, then eventually forgetting about it. Last year I stumbled over the whole book in B&N and it was like coming home. So good. 

Yeah! Disney Adventures was the first place I saw it and it got me to step foot into a comic shop for the first time. I didn’t even know there were individual issues of it, I just would go into a comic shop every few months and see if a new trade was for sale.

When I went to Stumptown a few years ago Jeff Smith was there and he signed my Out From Boneville book (which he told me was a first edition hardcover and I didn’t know that until then because it was the book I bought when I was 12) and oh look here’s a photo of it am I being obnoxious yet because this is my favorite thing.
