Anonymous asked: How much research did it take for you to make/design all the mythical creatures of Skin Deep?

Oh goodness, this is nearly impossible to answer! I’ve always had an interest in folklore/monsters/mythical creatures so I’ve been “researching” (aka spending all my free time looking this crap up because I love it) since I was a little kid. Some of the characters in Skin Deep I’ve been drawing since elementary school, and some of them are pretty recent (and some of them my friends designed!) so it’s difficult to answer this question.
