Three of my TF2 lady classes, Medic, Heavy, and...

Three of my TF2 lady classes, Medic, Heavy, and Scout! I also have an Engineer design, but she looks like straight up Rosie the Riveter so I didn’t feel the need to really draw her. These three are usually the main offenders when I see really terrible Lady Fortress designs so I wanted to do my own take.

Medic is based off Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and also has a riding “skirt” (the front panel can be buttoned in a way that makes it look like a skirt) so she can run freely in battle.

Heavy is based off a bunch of Soviet-era illustrations of working Russian women, and I gave her some fancy Russian military pants that I thought were fun to draw.

Scout’s got a full-body baseball outfit on because I was watching A League Of Their Own when I designed her and I’m not sorry. A lot of the female Scouts have tiny little short shorts and huge boobs which would be really crappy if you’re running all day, so I wanted to give her something practical (which is kind of the theme of all the designs).

Pyro is another main offender on the “let’s draw them as ladies!” topic, but I will never redesign Pyro because Pyro is perfect just the way they are. I might do the other classes sometime, if I get the inspiration for it.
