For new readers, is there a crash course/intro somewhere? Is it easy to get into?

Yeah! It’s called Skin Deep!

The main site is actually down right now and I’m trying to get a new official fancy page up and running, but there’s a mirror site hosted at WCN that is still running, so you can still read it (it’s a little janky, but it gets the job done in a pinch).

The first chapter, Orientations, starts here, but I would like to think that new readers could read the current arc, Exchanges, without a whole lot of problems. At least I hope you can! : )

And hopefully I fix my broken-ass site soon and you can read it in a little prettier context!
