im actually seriously considering organizing a tf2 tribute fanzine book whatever and sending it to valve and idk i guess giving the other copies for free or something

Well if you are just looking for a print-on-demand (POD) service, Ka-Blam is my go-to place. I get all my books printed there and they’re pretty swell. They have a lot of different options for printing, and are pretty helpful if you’re having any problems figuring things out. Like all print-on-demand services, they are more expensive per-unit than offset “professional” printing, but unlike offset printing you can get just one book printed and be done, where as offset printing you need, like, 1000 copies for them to be economically viable.

Since you are doing a fan thing that you will be giving away for free (at least I hope so! Making money off of someone else’s IP is illegal and unethical even though it seems like nobody really pays attention to that sort of thing in fandom but Intelectual Property and Copyright is an important issue for me since it keeps my own IP safe from theft, even though I am a small fry and sorry I can talk about my opinions on this sorta thing TILL THE COWS COME HOME), POD sounds like the way to go for something like this!

Would this be like a fanzine with just your work or a bunch of people’s work because…I would like…to be part of it…if it is a group thing…
